Associate -OTC (Over-the-Counter) Valuation

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Associate to join the OTC Valuation & Booking team within the MFS (Market and Financing Services) department. The role involves close collaboration with global stakeholders including front office, account managers, internal teams, and external vendors to ensure accurate and timely processing of OTC derivative transactions and valuations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate trade booking and valuation of OTC derivatives across global markets.
  
• Work with internal systems to process and validate OTC trades.
  
• Capture pricing from vendors and ensure correct price feeds are reflected in downstream systems.
  
• Reconcile trades and resolve trade breaks and pricing discrepancies with relevant parties.
  
• Liaise with external vendors, counterparties, and internal stakeholders (Front Office, Risk, Accounting) to manage exceptions.
  
• Collaborate with the Paris OTC Hub, local management, and internal teams to ensure smooth daily BAU operations.
  
• Ensure query resolution is completed in accordance with client SLAs and timelines.
  
• Assist in new process migrations, UAT, and system testing as required.
  
• Maintain high levels of data accuracy, ensuring all activities are properly documented in accordance with internal policies.
  
• Contribute to the teams success through cross-training, process improvement, and knowledge sharing.
  

Required Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong understanding of OTC derivative products, including swaps, options, forwards, and other structured instruments.
  
• Hands-on experience with OTC pricing, trade booking, and trade life cycle management.
  
• Prior experience in fund management operations, custody, or reconciliation (including cash and collateral).
  
• Familiarity with corporate actions, settlement processes, and collateral management.
  
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
  
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel (advanced functions preferred).
  
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work both independently and within a team, and meet strict deadlines.
  
• Experience in interacting with vendors (Bloomberg, Markit, Reuters) and handling pricing-related escalations.
  
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in cross-functional collaboration.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree (Commerce, Finance, or related field); MBA or equivalent preferred.
  
• 13 years of experience in derivatives operations or investment banking back-office functions.
  
• Experience with reconciliation tools (e.g., TLM, Geneva) and market data systems a plus. good knowledge on OTC products & Booking, Corporate action, Trade Settlement, Trade life cycle, Collateral management is required. "
