We're hiring an MEP AutoCAD Engineer - Piping Engineer for our client.

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced MEP AutoCAD Engineer with a focus on Piping Design to join our client's engineering team for industrial construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing precise piping layouts and MEP drawings using AutoCAD. You will play a critical role in ensuring all mechanical piping systems are accurately designed, coordinated, and aligned with project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D MEP piping layout drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare isometric drawings, sections, and schematics for mechanical and plumbing piping systems.
• Coordinate with civil, electrical, structural, and architectural teams to avoid clashes.
• Review and interpret mechanical design inputs such as P&IDs and specifications.
• Modify and update designs based on engineering feedback or site condition changes.
• Participate in design reviews and provide support to construction teams.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and ASME/ANSI standards.
• Generate Bill of Materials (BOM) and assist in preparing quantity take-offs.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all drawings and revisions.
  

Key Requirements:

• Educational Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 49 years of experience in piping design specifically for industrial construction projects.
  
• Software Proficiency:
• AutoCAD (mandatory)
• Navisworks / Plant 3D / Revit MEP (preferred)
  
• Knowledge of Standards: Familiarity with ASME B31.1/B31.3 and relevant IS Codes.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems in an industrial context.
