Senior Staff Engineer, Salesforce Commerce Cloud Expert(Demandware)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Total experience 10+ Years
• Strong technical expertise in Demandware
• Strong technical expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), both B2C and B2B.
• Hands-on experience with SFRA, backend integrations, and multi-geography architecture.
• Proficiency in Open Commerce APIs, Checkout Services, Gift Cards, Payment Integration, and testing frameworks such as Chai/Mocha.
• Experience designing scalable and performant eCommerce applications.
• Good understanding of hooks and customizing SFCC functionality using best practices.
• Experience working with headless commerce design and architecture is a plus.
• Familiarity with Einstein AI capabilities is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of multi-site and multi-locale setups is highly preferred.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both business and technical

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and develop robust, scalable Salesforce Commerce Cloud solutions.
• Define and implement technology patterns and best practices for eCommerce implementations.
• Develop application components including SFRA setup, backend services, and integrations.
• Evaluate application performance and optimize to meet a wide range of user scenarios.
• Write clean, testable, and efficient code aligned with modern development standards.
• Engage with business users to gather and understand functional and non-functional requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective and innovative eCommerce experiences.
• Stay current with trends in eCommerce technologies and apply them where appropriate.
• Lead or contribute to discussions on headless architecture and future-ready designs.
