Role & responsibilities

Title SAP APO Consultant
India, 100% Remote
Working hours 2 to 11PM IST

Description: The SAP APO Consultant is responsible for delivering solutions and services in the area of supply chain planning using SAP Advanced Planner and Optimizer (APO). This role involves collaborating with clients to analyse their business requirements, support and maintain SAP APO modules (such as DP, SNP, PP/DS), and ensure the ongoing optimization of supply chain processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP APO implementation and support.
• Strong knowledge of at least two APO modules (DP, SNP, PP/DS, GATP).
• Experience with integration to SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• SAP certification in APO or related modules is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SAP IBP or other advanced planning tools (o9, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, OMP).
• Knowledge of supply chain processes in industries such as manufacturing, retail, or consumer goods

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day support for SAP APO modules (DP, SNP, PP/DS), addressing user queries and resolving system issues.
• Proactively identify and troubleshoot problems within the SAP APO landscape.
• Analyse and resolve incidents, defects, and service requests related to SAP APO processes and integrations.
• Coordinate with business users to understand issues, gather requirements for minor

enhancements, and ensure timely resolution.

• Support batch jobs, and interface monitoring between SAP APO and connected systems (e.g., ECC, S/4HANA).
• Participate in testing activities for system changes, upgrades, and new releases to ensure solution stability.
• Maintain compliance with change management and incident management processes.
• Provide regular status updates and reports to stakeholders on support activities and issue resolution.
