Job Description

Position Title: Senior ServiceNow Developer (ITOM Event Management & Automation)
Minimum ServiceNow Experience: 8+ years


Skills & Expertise:

  • 5-8 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow ITOM Health (Event Management) system development and administration.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and JSON programming languages.
  • Deep understanding and hands-on experience implementing and working with IT Operation Management (ITOM), particularly within Event Management and APIs.
  • Extensive experience with ITSM modules and processes.
  • Expertise in building automation using ServiceNow, improving and streamlining workflows.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Custom Development: Deliver high-level technical expertise for the development and customization of ServiceNow modules, particularly in ITOM, ITSM, and Service Portal.
  • Design & Configuration: Design, configure, and deploy ServiceNow ITOM modules following industry best practices and standards.
  • Leadership & Best Practices: Provide technical leadership in system integration and application development, ensuring adherence to best practices across projects.
  • ITOM Module Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of additional ServiceNow ITOM modules such as CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and the CSDM data model.
  • Event Management & Service Mapping: Implementations of Event Management and Service Mapping solutions, providing clients with industry-leading best practices.
  • Identification & Reconciliation Engine: Expertise in the Identification and Reconciliation engine within ServiceNow ITOM.
  • Platform Security & Integration: Advanced understanding of platform security and integration best practices to ensure robust and secure implementations.
  • Application Development & Integration: Spearhead the development of new applications and integrations on ServiceNow from initiation to completion, ensuring they are aligned with customer requirements. Take ownership of the process, including design, implementation, testing, and delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Workflow Automation: Develop and enhance workflows and scripts to customize and automate business processes on the ServiceNow platform.

Certifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (Required)
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist Event Management (Required)
  • ITIL Certification (Preferred, but not required)
