Job Title: Python Developer (Strong Java Background) Experience Level: 5+yrs Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled Python Developer with a strong background in Java-based applications to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable backend systems in Python while leveraging their Java expertise to work with legacy systems, support migrations, or integrate with existing Java-based platforms. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python applications and services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design system architecture and define integration points with Java-based services. Support the migration of core Java applications to Python-based frameworks when needed. Develop RESTful APIs, data pipelines, and backend components. Write clean, reusable, and testable code with proper documentation. Analyze and optimize system performance and scalability. Maintain, support, and debug existing Python and Java applications. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and Agile ceremonies. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience with Python and related backend frameworks (Django, Flask, FastAPI, etc.). 2+ years of hands-on experience with Java , preferably in Spring Boot or enterprise Java applications. Proficiency in developing REST APIs and integrating third-party services. Solid understanding of OOP principles, microservices architecture, and software design patterns. Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) is a plus. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Git, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in both Python and Java environments.
