Job Description Job Title: Senior SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) Location: Koramangala, Bangalore (On-Site Only) Interview Mode: Face-to-Face (F2F) Interview Timings: 3:00 PM 6:00 PM Job Description: We are hiring an experienced SQL Server DBA (8+ years) with expertise in MS-SQL Server administration, performance tuning, HA/DR configurations, and client handling. The role requires 100% on-site presence at our clients location in Koramangala, Bangalore. Roles & Responsibilities: Install, configure, upgrade, patch & manage SQL Server databases. Strong knowledge in backup/recovery, replication, failover, performance tuning . Hands-on in Always On, Log Shipping, DC & DR configuration . Proactive monitoring & troubleshooting at server, database & query level. Ensure 24/7 availability of DB environment (rotational on-call). Handle service desk tickets, audits, compliance, infra operations . Work with architects, admins, and development teams on DB changes. Participate in client meetings, DR drills & weekly reviews . Maintain DB documentation & mentor junior team members. Required Skills & Expertise: 8+ years in IT Database Domain with proven DBA operations experience. Strong in MS-SQL Server Administration, Installation, Environment setup . Azure SQL experience is a bonus. Excellent communication & client-handling skills. MS-SQL Certification preferred. Work Conditions: Work Location: Koramangala, Bangalore (Client Site). Work Mode: On-site only (No WFH). Shifts: 24x7 rotational shifts including night shifts. Week-offs: 2 Saturdays off per month; other Saturdays working. Must adhere to customer policies & compliance .
