Job Description

    The HR Cum Secretary will play a dual role, supporting both the Human Resources department and the executive team. You will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, coordinating HR activities, and providing organizational support to enhance overall efficiency and productivity. In terms of Human Resources Support, you will assist in recruitment processes including posting job vacancies, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews. Additionally, you will support onboarding and orientation processes for new employees, maintain employee records and HR documentation, and assist in the administration of employee benefits and compensation programs. You will also help in organizing employee engagement activities and training programs. For Administrative Support, your responsibilities will include managing schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements for HR and executive staff, preparing and organizing meeting agendas, minutes, and presentations, handling correspondence, emails, and phone calls, and maintaining office supplies and managing inventory for HR-related materials. You will also be involved in Compliance and Reporting by assisting in preparing reports on HR metrics, compliance, and other relevant data for management review, and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures related to HR and administrative functions. Communication is key in this role as you will serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR inquiries and provide necessary support, as well as communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to facilitate smooth operations. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, along with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in HR or administrative roles. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion are essential for this position. Preferred skills include knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices, experience with recruitment tools and platforms, certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR), ability to work independently and as part of a team, and qualifications in secretarial training or administrative support.
