Job Description

About the Role:

As the Last Mile City Manager for Hyderabad, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the entire last-mile delivery operations across the city. You will lead a team of Fleet Managers and ensure timely, accurate, and efficient deliveries while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and partner engagement. This role demands strong operational leadership, people management, and a deep understanding of fleet dynamics in a fast-paced Quick Commerce environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive all last-mile delivery metrics for Hyderabad, including speed, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and manage Fleet Managers across different store clusters in the city.
  • Ensure optimal fleet availability through demand-supply forecasting and proactive resource planning.
  • Collaborate with Store Operations and Planning teams to align delivery capacity with business demand.
  • Design and implement payout structures and incentive programs that drive performance and partner retention.
  • Monitor fleet performance through dashboards and regular reviews; identify gaps and drive corrective actions.
  • Conduct training and engagement programs for delivery partners on safety, compliance, and customer service.
  • Resolve escalations, disputes, and grievances efficiently to maintain a healthy and productive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and company policies across all delivery operations.
  • Support expansion and transition plans including onboarding of new delivery zones or stores.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience: 8-10 years in last-mile logistics, fleet management, or delivery operations, preferably in Quick Commerce or E-commerce.
  • Leadership: Proven experience in managing large teams and multi-location delivery operations.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in any discipline (MBA preferred).
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
    • Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and reporting.
    • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing business needs.
    • Knowledge of local geography and language (Telugu preferred).
