Our client is seeking a Sales Representative to join their team, based in Gqeberha.

Successful candidate will drive sales of trucks, buses or yellow equipment to clients, primarily in the Agricultural sector.  Will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining existing relationships and achieving sales targets within the George to East London route.

Minimum Requirements:-

  • Matric essential; Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Agriculture or related field advantageous
  • Technical knowledge of commercial vehicles or yellow equipment strongly advantageous
  • Proven sales experience in trucks, buses, or yellow equipment (preferably to the Farming / Agricultural sector)
  • Strong understanding of the Agriculture industry and client needs in rural areas
  • Valid driver?s license and willingness to travel extensively between George and East London
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and target-driven with a Hunter mentality

Duties:-

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with farmers and agricultural businesses
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the designated territory
  • Conduct on-site visits, product demonstrations, and presentations to potential clients
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts in line with company policies
  • Provide after-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activity, and market intelligence
  • Collaborate with the service department to ensure seamless customer experience
  • Stay up to date with product knowledge, competitor offerings and market trends
