Role: AI/ML Engineer Location: Remote (Western Cape, South Africa) Salary: R85,000 per month (Negotiable, based on experience) Are you a passionate AI Engineer who thrives on building robust, scalable machine learning solutions from the ground up? Do you want to be at the forefront of enabling businesses to harness the power of AI? We?re looking for a talented and driven AI Engineer to join our client?s dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and operationalizing cutting-edge AI solutions that form the core of our AI-Enabled Landing Zones for a diverse range of clients.

Key Responsibilities: Design & Strategy: Develop AI strategies and roadmaps tailored to client business goals. Design scalable and secure AI architectures on cloud platforms like Azure and AWS. Development: Build and optimize end-to-end AI/ML workflows, including data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, and evaluation using advanced Python and frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch. Deployment (MLOps): Operationalize models using modern MLOps practices.

Leverage tools like Databricks, Azure ML, Kubernetes, and Docker to ensure reliable, production-ready deployments. Continuous Improvement: Monitor, maintain, and retrain models in production, incorporating feedback to ensure they continue to deliver real-world value and performance. Collaboration: Work within Agile Scrum teams alongside Cloud Consultants and Engineers to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality, value-driven solutions. What We're Looking For (The Essentials): 2-5 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing AI/ML models.

Strong proficiency in Python programming and AI/ML frameworks ( TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-Learn ). Proven, practical experience with Databricks and/or Azure ML for data processing and model development. Solid understanding of MLOps principles and tools, including Docker, Kubernetes , and CI/CD pipelines for automating the ML lifecycle. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The Offer: A competitive negotiable salary of R85,000 per month. A fully remote working environment within the Western Cape. Work directly with a senior cybersecurity specialist to support day-to-day security operations and projects
Create and update critical documentation like policies, procedures, and incident playbooks
