Job title: Family Physician Vacancy type: Full-time Salary: Market related Location: Oyen, Canada Requirements: Must be eligible for registration and licensing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) . Eligible to apply for the Provisional Register Conditional Practice as a General Practitioner or recognized as a specialist in Family Medicine. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) ? required. Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) ? required.

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) ? desired. MOREOB/ALARM or equivalent obstetrical emergency training ? desired. Recent (within the past two years) experience or training in emergency and/or rural medicine preferred. Must be willing to reside in the Oyen area and actively participate in community-based healthcare.

Duties: Provide a full scope of rural family medicine , including primary care and hospital-based services. Maintain admitting privileges and manage inpatient care as part of a community hospital setting. Deliver comprehensive clinical services during regular working hours (minimum 40 hours per week). Participate in emergency call rotations and provide on-call support as required.

Engage in quality improvement initiatives and continuous professional development. Collaborate with other physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care. Support and promote community health programs within the region. Uphold professional standards and ethical medical practice in all clinical activities.
