Our client, based in Elandsfontein (East Rand), is currently looking to employ an experienced Social Media & Online Reputation Management Specialist to join their team.

Minimum 5 years? experience in Social Media Management, Digital Marketing, or Paid Media Management will secure.

Requirements:

  • Matric / Grade 12 (minimum).

  • Bachelor?s Degree or National Diploma in Digital Marketing, Business Management, Communication, or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years? experience in Social Media Management, Digital Marketing, or Paid Media Management.

  • Proven experience managing and growing brand presence across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

  • Working knowledge of Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, YouTube Studio, and Google Analytics.

  • Experience using social media listening, monitoring, and analytics tools.

  • Strong copywriting, creative, and analytical skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple platforms, campaigns, and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Proficient in MS Office and online marketing tools.

Responsibilities: Social Media Management

  • Develop, implement, and manage social media content calendars across platforms.

  • Create and schedule engaging content aligned with brand objectives.

  • Manage paid media campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

  • Ensure consistent brand tone, imagery, and messaging across all digital channels.

  • Monitor campaign performance and optimise for engagement and reach.

  • Stay updated on emerging digital trends and best practices.

Online Reputation and Community Management

  • Monitor and respond to online reviews, comments, and messages on platforms such as Google, Facebook, and HelloPeter.

  • Maintain a positive brand image by resolving complaints and highlighting positive engagement.

  • Track and report on customer sentiment, feedback trends, and community growth.

  • Escalate potential risks or PR issues and assist in crisis communication when necessary.

Content Creation and Campaign Management

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to conceptualise and execute social media campaigns.

  • Create or coordinate visual content (images, videos, graphics, etc.).

  • Manage relationships with creative teams or external agencies where applicable.

  • Develop campaign briefs and monitor performance against KPIs.

Reporting and Analytics

  • Compile weekly and monthly performance reports for all digital platforms.

  • Measure campaign ROI and provide actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Track engagement, reach, impressions, follower growth, and sentiment analysis.

  • Present analytics and reports to management for review and strategy planning.

Digital Marketing Support

  • Assist the Digital Marketing Manager with research, project execution, and content updates.

  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of digital marketing initiatives.

  • Support the integration of social media insights into broader marketing and customer engagement strategies.
