To ensure the company products are engineered to market requirements by designing, developing, testing and introducing locally manufactured components, by adapting and developing company sourced designs to be compatible with company responsible markets 'environmental conditions and by issuing technical data in line with the correct component engineering level to meet the following criteria: Company products are built problem free Regional requirements in terms of local content and technical support are met Innovative and unique product feature development Safety and reliability in service Technical support for discontinued models (and still required in Africa) Technical development that adheres to the required Product Emergence Process (PEP) manual Possible Tasks within this Role Apply sound knowledge of vehicle component systems such as the drivetrain, exhaust system, fuel system, air conditioning system, cooling system, etc. Prepare, issue and maintain technical data for Chassis, Powertrain and automotive Heating-Ventilation-Air-conditioning (HVAC) components and systems. Support Production, Logistics, Warranty and Quality and assist with special investigations. Specify, test and release Chassis/Powertrain/HVAC components and systems to ensure adherence to internal and external requirements.

Create and track development and release timing plans; prepare development and release reports. Evaluation and implementation of design changes and material cost saving ideas. Support of suppliers throughout the development and localization phases. Communication and cooperation with relevant Group counterparts ( company , Skoda, Brazil) for projects.

Application of root cause analysis tools, implementation of corrective actions and introduction of preventative measures. Qualification requirements National Diploma/Btech/BSc/ BEng in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering Experience needed Minimum 3 years relative experience in the automotive or a similar engineering field Essentials Knowledge of modern Chassis/Powertrain/HVAC vehicle components and systems. Knowledge of modern automotive production methods. Knowledge of project management principles.

Understanding of basic financial principles. Self-motivation, good time management, report writing and presentation ability. The ability to conduct Technical Presentations. The ability to work and communicate effectively with people at all levels.

MS Office computer literacy. Code 08 Drivers Licence. Added Advantage A working knowledge of German language. ..

Essential Functions

1. Process and verify incoming payments, ensuring accuracy in transactions and resolving any discrepancies.
2. Prepare and send invoices to clients, following up on outstanding payments as necessary.
3. Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all accounts receivable transactions.
4. Collaborate with the sales and customer service departments to resolve billing issues and improve customer satisfaction.
5. Ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
6. Generate reports detailing accounts receivable status for review by the finance manager.
7. Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to accounts receivable to improve efficiency and reduce outstanding receivables.
8. Support the finance department with other tasks and projects as needed.
9. Handle and count cash drawer daily.

Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands
This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and typical work hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.


Required Education and Experience
  • Recent A/R experience (within the past 3 years) which includes posting payments to the G/L
  • Experience processing virtual/verbal credit card payments through a third-party website which includes posting them to the G/L
  • Experience Imaging customer checks to the Bank imaging system
  • Experience with weekly/monthly/bi-monthly billing
  • Experience Managing a digital filing system using Adobe pdf. files and Microsoft print to pdf.
  • Experience Calling on customer accounts for 90-day collections
  • Experience with Excel?Expert
  • Experience with 10-key calculator
  • Great phone etiquette
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to meet crucial deadlines on a daily basis

Additional Eligibility Qualifications
