Job Title: AWAKE NIGHT STAFF | #2034 Service Area: Living Options Location: Vancouver / Richmond, BC Start Date: June 24, 2025 Term/Status: Permanent Full Time Schedule/Hours: 2 Week Shift Rotation Week 1 - Mon/Tues/Fri/Sat/Sun | Week 2 - Mon/Tues/Fri/Sat All Shifts 22:00-08:30 AM // 73.5 hours Bi-weekly Hourly Wage: $25.85 as per collective agreement The Role: The Awake Night Staff (AWNS) provides a safe, comfortable, and home-like environment for each resident with the opportunity for each resident to develop life skills to the limits of their desire and potential. The AWNS also ensures good communication between team members, family, and professionals with regard to the life of the individual. Please note that the location, schedule, days, and hours are subject to change as per Living Options department needs. Ability to implement complex behaviour programs. Skilled in proactive training programs and crisis intervention. Must be able to perform lifts and transfers of 40lbs. Experience in Geriatric care preferred. Formal training in the area of counselling and positive behavior support preferred. Criminal Record Clearance Medical Clearance Valid First Aid/CPR Non-violent Crisis Intervention Certification Demonstrated competency in English written and verbal communication Basic computer literacy Eligible to work in Canada *This position requires Union membership. *This position is only open to Male applicants.
