General Manager Edenvale, Johannesburg A leading national distribution business in the professional skincare and personal care sector is seeking a seasoned Commercial Executive to take full accountability for its South African operations. This is a high-impact leadership role reporting to the CEO and Board, responsible for driving sustainable growth, profitability and operational excellence across a multi-regional business. The Opportunity Based in Johannesburg (Edenvale), the General Manager will lead a business of approximately 45 employees across Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban, including warehouse operations. You will oversee and align the full commercial and operational engine of the business through a strong leadership team comprising: National Sales Manager Finance Manager Education Manager Marketing & eCommerce Manager Personal Assistant The role requires strategic oversight combined with disciplined execution across sales, marketing, finance, pricing, supply chain and education.

Key Responsibilities Define and execute the national growth strategy aligned to Board objectives Drive revenue growth and improve profitability across all channels Lead pricing strategy, trading terms and rebate structures Oversee budgeting and financial performance in partnership with Finance Present monthly and quarterly performance reviews to the Board Expand new market opportunities including aesthetic clinics, spas and hotel groups Lead product launches and ensure strong channel penetration Drive eCommerce performance and digital optimisation Ensure operational efficiencies across warehousing and distribution Maintain high standards of governance, compliance and health & safety Develop and empower a high-performing leadership team Candidate Profile We are looking for a commercially astute, hands-on leader with a strong track record in: Cosmetics Pharmaceutical Personal Care Professional beauty distribution Minimum requirements: Bachelor?s degree in Business, Marketing or related field 10+ years? experience in Sales and Distribution 7+ years in senior leadership Strong commercial acumen (pricing, shelf-life, consumer demand, manufacturing dynamics) Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams Comfortable operating at Board level Willingness to travel nationally This role suits a confident, analytical and decisive executive who can balance strategic thinking with operational control. This is an office-based role in Johannesburg with travel to Cape Town and Durban when required. ..
