Sales Representative / Executive - Port Elizabeth

Our Client in the Engineering / Manufacturing Industry is seeking to employ an experienced Sales Executive to their team based in Perseverance, Port Elizabeth. Awesome career opportunity. Requirements: Grade 12 (Matric) Tertiary qualification in Sales, Business, or related field advantageous Proven track record in sales, preferably in marine or boating industry Demonstrated ability in prospecting, relationship management, and account development Experience in proposal writing, presentations, and CRM systems Valid driver?s license Willingness to travel as required Sales, commercial, and financial acumen Responsibilities: Sales and Business Development (60%) Secure orders from existing and prospective customers through relationship-based approaches. Expand The Company's footprint throughout Africa by growing representative networks. Demonstrate products/services and provide guidance to customers on the best solutions. Develop clear and effective written proposals and quotations for customers. Research, identify, and develop prospective customers in the assigned territory. Plan and execute personal sales strategy to maximize return on time investment. Coordinate sales efforts with marketing, management, accounting, logistics, and technical service teams. Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to identify opportunities and product improvements. Customer Service and Account Management (20%) Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers. Expedite the resolution of customer problems, complaints, and after-sales inquiries. Provide regular feedback to management on customer needs, market trends, and potential opportunities. Manage and participate in trade shows, conventions, and related promotional events. Compliance and Reporting (10%) Ensure compliance with company sales policies, procedures, and ethical standards. Provide timely reports to the Commercial Manager on sales performance, customer interactions, and market intelligence. Continuous Improvement and Strategic Input (10%) Identify opportunities for process improvement in sales activities. Recommend enhancements to products/services based on customer feedback and market analysis.
