Overview Job Skills / Requirements We are looking for experienced Security Officers to join our Tactical Mobile team! In this role, you will conduct emergency responses to alarms, report security breaches and property damage, and direct unauthorized individuals to leave the premises. You will be driving a Paladin vehicle and conduct foot patrols inside and outside of facilities, up and down stairs, and over uneven surfaces and terrains. Your pay rate will start at $32.00/hour during training, increasing to $34.00/hour through probation, and increasing again to $37.00/hour after successful completion of the 3-month probation.

You will be working 12-hour shifts on a rotational basis. What We Offer • Competitive wages • Uniforms provided at no cost • Development and training through Paladin's Learning Management System • Opportunities for career growth in the field or corporate • May be eligible for extended health and dental benefits • May be eligible for Employee and Family Assistance Program • Exclusive discounts for employees Responsibilities • Conduct regular patrols and surveillance of client facilities; provide access control as needed • Respond to alarms, accident calls, and emergencies at client facilities within designated time frames • Escalate and report issues to the Security Command Centre in a timely manner • Dispatch and work with first responders (police/fire/ambulance) • Write detailed incident reports for security incidents that occur during shift • Build rapport with surrounding businesses to heighten the level of security • Use discretion when handling confidential information • Handle all incidents in a professional and calm demeanor • Other duties as required to meet operational demands Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of work experience in the security industry • Advanced Security Training (AST) • Valid Intermediate First Aid Training (Occupational First Aid Level 2) • Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License and a clean driving abstract • Intermediate computer skills • Availability to work days and nights, 12-hour shifts on a 4-day rotation • Excellent customer service, professionalism, and communication • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada • Must be able to commit to a minimum of 1 year Additional Information / Benefits Paladin Security: Making the World a Safer and Friendlier Place because we CARE ! The Dietitian provides competent, safe, and ethical care for people and their families in settings such as physician practices, homes, facilities, and communities, and applies the principles of evidence-informed practice to achieve effective outcomes related to their participation in valued activities. Through clinical assessment, treatment planning, recommended interventions, and follow up, the Dietitian contributes to the fulfillment of the overall plan of care developed by the interprofessional team and informed by the person's personal goals for care.
This position consists of 4 days per week in Community, 1 day per week Long Term Care

Primary Care Networks are partnerships between the Divisions of Family Practice representing BC's family physicians, the regional health authorities, the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) and local community partners, along with other community providers such as nurse practitioners. All partners are working together in their local communities and collectively to redesign B.C.'s primary and community care system so that it works better for patients and health-care providers.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days - 08:30 to 16:30

Qualfications
• Baccalaureate degree in nutrition and dietetics.
• Successful completion of an accredited dietetic internship program (or equivalent acceptable to the facility).
• Registrant of the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia.
• Two years of clinical nutrition experience in a health care environment or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience.
• Practice specific requirements and experience in programs such as: Diabetes Education, Nutrition Support, and Kidney and Chronic Disease Management Programs.
• Valid BC Driver's License.
