Our client is looking for a driven and knowledgeable Technical Sales Manager with deep expertise in ingredients for the baking and milling industries, specifically flour correctors. This is an ideal position for a commercially oriented professional with hands-on experience in baking, milling, or food science, and proven track record in ingredient or equipment sales.  Minimum Qualifications Matric and food tertiary qualification Minimum 5 years? sales experience in baking ingredients, milling industry, or related equipment (laboratory/technical) Strong technical knowledge of ingredients used in the baking industry, with emphasis on flour correctors Background in baking, bakery operations, food science, or milling technology Willing and able to travel across South Africa and neighbouring African countries Business-minded with a proactive, go-getter attitude and strong communication skills (English) Comfortable working in diverse and sometimes challenging African business environments Excel advanced Must be a South African citizen Clear criminal and credit record Excellent references Key Responsibilities Grow sales through managing and developing existing accounts as well as prospecting new clients Cultivate strong customer relationships and ensure a high level of client satisfaction Execute the sales strategy and introduce new products to develop business with both new and existing accounts Collaborate with senior sales management to set product pricing and work towards increasing sales margins Translate customer briefs and expectations into actionable input for the R&D team to develop tailored solutions Provide monthly reports on key business metrics, pipeline opportunities, and emerging competitor products Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients and stakeholders Lead the prospection, engagement, and acquisition of new key accounts, including organizing and presenting at seminars and industry events This is a chance to make an impactful contribution within an innovative, technical-driven ingredients environment. Work directly with a senior cybersecurity specialist to support day-to-day security operations and projects
Create and update critical documentation like policies, procedures, and incident playbooks
