Hemodialysis Registered Nurse ? In Center We're looking for a Hemodialysis RN to deliver safe, high-quality chronic dialysis care under the direction of the Unit Medical Director, in compliance with facility, state, and federal standards. What You'll Do Patient Care Initiate, monitor, and discontinue hemodialysis treatments; assess patients pre- and post-treatment Perform access care and dialyze isolation patients using proper precautions Administer and document medications per physician orders and within RN scope of practice Recognize and report dialysis and non-dialysis-related problems promptly Obtain blood samples and initiate/discontinue blood transfusions per policy Develop and update individualized nursing care plans Provide patient and family education as opportunities arise Maintain a safe environment using proper body mechanics, universal precautions, and infection control Operations & Equipment Operate, sanitize, and maintain dialysis and water treatment equipment per policy Assist with supply ordering, inventory management, and unit organization Report equipment malfunctions and supply issues promptly Team & Administration Communicate effectively with physicians, coordinators, patients, and families Assist in orienting and training new staff Participate in staff meetings, in-services, and CQI projects Support scheduling and adequate unit coverage as needed Requirements Active RN license per state requirements Knowledge of ESRD and hemodialysis procedures Commitment to ongoing clinical education and professional development Machines / Equipment RN will be responsible for maintaining a working knowledge of all hemodialysis and related ancillary and emergency equipment utilized in the facility such as: reuse equipment, water treatment equipment, computer, hemodialysis machines, sphygmomanometer, conductivity meter, glucometers, scale, electronic thermometers, centrifuge, EKG machine, IV infusion pump, code cart, suction machine, oxygen administration equipment, and personal protective equipment. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 1. Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.

Bachelors in nursing or health related field preferred. 2. Approximately one year nursing experience. 3.

Current appropriate state licensure. 4. Hemodialysis experience desirable. 5.

ICU/CCU experience preferred. 6. Successful completion of training course in theory and practice of hemodialysis. 7.

Valid driver?s license and insurance, when indicated/applicable for business travel by automobile. 8. Computer knowledge desirable. 9.

Successful completion of current CPR Healthcare Recognition according to the American Heart Association. 10. Possesses reliable transportation. ..

Essential Functions

1. Process and verify incoming payments, ensuring accuracy in transactions and resolving any discrepancies.
2. Prepare and send invoices to clients, following up on outstanding payments as necessary.

Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands
This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and typical work hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.


Required Education and Experience
  • Recent A/R experience (within the past 3 years) which includes posting payments to the G/L
  • Experience processing virtual/verbal credit card payments through a third-party website which includes posting them to the G/L
  • Experience Imaging customer checks to the Bank imaging system
  • Experience with weekly/monthly/bi-monthly billing
  • Experience Managing a digital filing system using Adobe pdf. files and Microsoft print to pdf.
  • Experience Calling on customer accounts for 90-day collections
  • Experience with Excel?Expert
  • Experience with 10-key calculator
  • Great phone etiquette
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to meet crucial deadlines on a daily basis

Additional Eligibility Qualifications
? Successful completion of a drug screen and background check.
