Cypress Employment has a client hiring for Structural Fitters in Mobile, AL. Pay Range: $22-$32 based on skill level. This position is 90 days temp to perm. What We're Looking For Education & Training High school diploma or GED preferred Vocational training or previous employer training in application tools and techniques preferred Must pass our comprehensive written and/or practical skills test Willingness to complete our world-class training programs after joining the team Experience That Counts Minimum 3 years of fitter work-related experience and/or training required Special Skills That Set You Apart Blueprint Reading: Must read blueprints, section and plan drawings, and weld symbols like a pro Mathematical Precision: Derive measurements, dimensions, and material quantities from technical drawings Multitasking Master: Handle multiple processing operations simultaneously Independent Worker: Self-motivated and able to work autonomously Math Skills: Basic mathematics knowledge essential Physical Stamina: Experience in physically demanding environments Safety Conscious: Familiarity with OSHA regulations and commitment to safety practices Physical Requirements Vision: Read printed materials, identify tool markings, and recognize team members Hearing: Engage in conversations and respond to safety alerts Speaking: Communicate effectively with individuals and groups Equipment Mastery: Operate arc welding equipment, oxy-fuel cutting tools, grinders, cranes, and more Lifting/Carrying: Handle up to 50lbs regularly Confined Spaces: Comfortable working in tight spaces for extended periods Heights: Work confidently at heights up to 15 feet on various platforms Physical Endurance: Stand, walk, sit, squat, and kneel as needed throughout the day ..

Essential Functions

1. Process and verify incoming payments, ensuring accuracy in transactions and resolving any discrepancies.
2. Prepare and send invoices to clients, following up on outstanding payments as necessary.
3. Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all accounts receivable transactions.
4. Collaborate with the sales and customer service departments to resolve billing issues and improve customer satisfaction.
5. Ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
6. Generate reports detailing accounts receivable status for review by the finance manager.
7. Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to accounts receivable to improve efficiency and reduce outstanding receivables.
8. Support the finance department with other tasks and projects as needed.
9. Handle and count cash drawer daily.

Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands
This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and typical work hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.


Required Education and Experience
  • Recent A/R experience (within the past 3 years) which includes posting payments to the G/L
  • Experience processing virtual/verbal credit card payments through a third-party website which includes posting them to the G/L
  • Experience Imaging customer checks to the Bank imaging system
  • Experience with weekly/monthly/bi-monthly billing
  • Experience Managing a digital filing system using Adobe pdf. files and Microsoft print to pdf.
  • Experience Calling on customer accounts for 90-day collections
  • Experience with Excel?Expert
  • Experience with 10-key calculator
  • Great phone etiquette
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to meet crucial deadlines on a daily basis

Additional Eligibility Qualifications
? Successful completion of a drug screen and background check.
