POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for performing light secondary work such as cleaning & washing parts, deburring, buffing, TFE and simple machining. Responsible for ensuring these processes are executed efficiently while maintaining quality standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Work under the general direction of the department supervisor with a minimum of supervision. ? Perform light secondary deburring, washing, cleaning, grinding and straightening of parts.

? Perform drilling, cutting, tapping, buffing, press work and simple machining. ? Run machinery following all processes and procedures, including soap/detergent usage, coating mixtures, oven temperatures, cure times, waste cleanup and more. ? Transfer material and parts from one location to another, including loading parts into machinery properly. ? Work from blueprints and other technical documents.

? Check finished items for quality. ? Maintain a neat and orderly work area. ? Follow all safety procedures and quality standards. ? Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.

Includes removal of any foreign matter. ? Report defective material, any unusual condition or circumstance to supervisor. ? Follow standard practices and procedures as outlined by company policy. ? Perform all other duties as directed or required.

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: ? High school diploma or general education degree (GED) ? One to three years manufacturing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. ? Must have reasonable dexterity in hands to manipulate small parts. ? Ability to read blueprints and measuring equipment such as: micrometers and calipers preferred ADDITIONAL CHARACTERISTICS: ? This position works as both an individual contributor and in a team environment ? This position required the ability to lift 25-55 lbs. occasionally, 10-25 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs.
