Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain servers within a Linux environment. Monitor server health using automated and manual processes. Design and implement infrastructure monitoring and reporting tools using scripts.

Perform OS maintenance, upgrades, and software repository management. Develop automation strategies, deployment processes, and test automation frameworks. Maintain detailed documentation for procedures, configurations, and programs. Required Skills 2+ years of experience working with Linux operating systems.

Strong scripting skills in Bash, Ansible, Python, Ruby, Perl, or related languages. Experience with Linux servers in virtualized environments. Proficiency in installing and maintaining services such as Bind, Apache, MySQL, and Nginx. Solid understanding of configuration management tools like Ansible.

Knowledge of databases including MS SQL, Oracle, or DB2. Ability to develop tools that increase infrastructure functionality and efficiency. Preferred Skills Experience with cloud computing. Experience with open-source application suites like WordPress or Drupal.

Work directly with a senior cybersecurity specialist to support day-to-day security operations and projects
Create and update critical documentation like policies, procedures, and incident playbooks
