Job Title: Infrastructure Lead/ Infrastructure Architect
Location: Sunnyvale, CA and Durham NC
Duration: Long Term Contract
Work within a cross-functional team to provide technical expertise in the design and planning of system solutions.
Research, identify, test, certify, and select technology products required for solution delivery.
Maximize the performance, uptime, and supportability technology platforms.
Establish and implement technology migration strategies for applications or architectures.
May focus on WAN, LAN or server technology.
Ensure connectivity is in place between the internet and the organization and monitor the protection and efficiency of the Company firewall.
Conduct systems programming and systems support activities, such as new or revised program language codes, processing routines and report generators.
Monitor effective language codes, processing routines, hardware use and use of database management techniques.
Modify, maintain and update software, such as compilers, link editors, assemblers, OEM utilities, JCL, macros and subroutines.
As the subject matter expert for the department, provide management with status updates and recommendations; and strategy planning support.
Provide mentorship and training of other associates at the same level or below on processes and tools; and to handle more complex issues/requests.
Packet analysis and debugging abilities using a variety of tools (e.g. Finisar, Clearsight, Ethereal, tcpdump, etc.)
Strong knowledge of systems technologies, and products and services.
Strong knowledge of Cisco equipment.
Strong knowledge of Visio.
Scripting ability in Shell, PERL, Python, or other similar use language.
Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently with competing deadlines.
Ability to learn new technologies and apply them to solving issues and problems within your area of expertise.
Must have experience in unix/linux, storage and network
Min Experience : 12 - 18 years ( Must have Unix/ Linus, Storage experience )
