Sodexo Leisure has an exciting opening for a General Manager of Food Services at the CA Academy of Sciences in San Francisco, CA. Based in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park, it is home to a world-class aquarium, planetarium, and natural history museum - all under one living roof.
Ability to manage multiple retail food outlets and high-end, high-volume catering operations
Direct financial oversight for this prestigious Multi-Million Dollar account
Excellent organization skills, attention to detail and the ability to work in a high pressure environment are key in this role
Manage client relationships, 6 salaried direct reports, several hourly supervisors, and 75 frontline Sodexo employees.
Full financial responsibility for managing the budget, staffing & client relations
Managing the culinary operations of full-service cafes, in a venue of at least $8M annual F&B revenues
Prior experience successfully managing a large cultural destination
Knowledgeable of effective sustainability practices and efforts
Ability to demonstrate excellence in client and customer relations, team motivation
Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to motivate employees to bring their best everyday
