Transport Planner, PAYS $38/HR

Transport Planner needs 3 years of relevant transportation experience, preferably with other CPG or transportation company
Transport Planner requires:
? Strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams) ?
? Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and other visibility tools ?
? College degree in related field such as supply chain or management desirable but not required
? Knowledge of ERP systems a plus

Transport Planner duties:
? ? Plan, tender and monitor (track & trace) shipments to carriers via TMS and SAP according to department policy/procedure. ?
? Initiate and maintain transfer/replenishment activity from all warehouses/entities. ?
? Monitor daily dock appointments to ensure compliance with warehouse work schedules. ?
? Coordinate and provide shipment information for Customer Service, Deployment, Sales, Production Planners, and Warehouse. ?
? Schedule customer pick up (Will Calls) and delivery appointments. ?
? Build and maintain relationships with transportation suppliers such as brokers, forwarders and asset-based carriers to ensure on-time performances ?
? Monitor and assess KPIs for quality assurance ?
? Become a subject matter expert that can document best practices while also providing recommendations on how to streamline processes ?
? Assist with dynamic changes in a fast-paced environment to continuously improve the transportation network ?
? Ensure operational continuity and provide key insights to internal stakeholders
