Job Description For Application Architect

As an Application Architect specializing in commercial insurance agency, your primary responsibility will be to design and oversee the development of robust and scalable software applications tailored to meet the unique needs of commercial insurance agencies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and project managers, to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor?s or master?s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as an Application Architect, Software Architect, or a similar role, with a focus on commercial insurance agency applications.

Strong knowledge of commercial insurance processes, workflows, and industry standards.

Proficiency in software development methodologies, frameworks, and languages, such as .NET.

Experience with modern application architecture patterns, including microservices, API-driven development, and cloud-native architectures.

Familiarity with insurance-specific technologies and systems, such as policy administration systems, claims management systems, and rating engines.

Knowledge of data integration techniques and experience with data exchange formats, such as XML, JSON, and EDI.

Understanding of security protocols, encryption techniques, and compliance requirements in the insurance industry.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
