Production Operator in the city of West Chicago, IL in DuPage County
Pay Rate $21.95/hr. plus $.75 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts.
$1,000 sign-on bonus
Shift/hours 2nd shift 2pm-10:30pm and 3rd shift 10pm-6:30am

As a Production Operator, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!

Key Responsibilities
The position involves blending, measuring, and producing raw materials to manufacture industrial coatings.
Operate equipment safely and effectively for production processing.
Ensure that equipment is maintained in good and safe working condition. Inspect equipment to identify any replacements, malfunctions, and repairs.
Perform regular equipment maintenance to ensure production capacity and quality.
Aid junior operators in their assigned responsibilities.
Repair and clean the equipment when needed. Evaluate equipment performance and recommend improvements.
Operate trucks and other industrial vehicles to transfer the production equipment between warehouse and working area.
Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation.
Prepare materials and product for packaging and shipment to customers.
You will work in a production environment with the appropriate safety procedures in place.

Qualifications
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day.
Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
Ability to work any job, and work overtime as needed.
