Summary

Global Commodity Manager, IT Services (software)

Contract duration estimated 12 months, extension TBD

Hybrid role preferred in office 1-2x/week. Remote is flexible.???

Roles & Responsibilities

• Developing commodity strategies

• Consulting with internal Stakeholders for best and sustainable solutions

• Lead Terms and Conditions and price negotiations

• Sub-Commodities include Hardware, Hardware Maintenance, Hardware Services, and Network

• Management (LAN/WAN, Fixed Voice, Mobile Voice, Phones, etc.) and/or

• Software and Software Services

• Manage Global Team meetings with Users to assure Service level

• Drive user satisfaction and adoption

• Develop Commodity Strategies and supplier portfolios 

• Ensure an appropriate supplier management

• Achieve defined cost reduction targets

• Good understanding of the relevant legal framework

• Ability to operate independently 

• Manage internal client and supplier relationships

• Monitor and assess supplier performance 

• Evaluate and respond to changes in global market developments

Minimum Qualifications

• Required  At least 5 years? experience in global purchasing activities for above commodities 

• Excellent oral and written communication skills 

• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills 

• Team player who thrives on a fast-paced and demanding environment 

• Individual contributor role with demonstrated leadership within cross-functional team, decision making and creative thinking skills 

• Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with others Preferred 

• Prior experience leading projects and project teams

• Bachelor?s Degree

• C.P.M. Certified Purchasing Manager is a preferred certification
