Job Title: Recruitment Associate
Reports to: Operations Manager
Classification: Seasonal, exempt
Compensation: $15/hour at approximately 20 hrs/week

Position Summary:
At PALS, we provide inclusive camp experiences for individuals with Down syndrome and their peers. Our volunteer-led programs change attitudes, transform lives, and inspire a world of belonging.

Our model is based on one-to-one pairings between volunteer Peers, participants without Down syndrome, and Partners, participants with Down syndrome.

PALS programs are planned and executed by volunteer Program Leads. As a Recruitment Associate, you are responsible for facilitating and implementing all phases of the recruitment process. Additionally, you will support the safety and impact of our programs through the management of health forms, background checks, and excellent customer service.

This is a remote working opportunity.

Time Commitment: February 15 - August 8 (25 Weeks)

Essential Job Functions:
-Support recruitment of Peer volunteers, including marketing, outreach, and supporting the work of the Recruitment Coordinator.
-Support enrollment of Peers by hosting new peer calls/interviews
-Review and process confidential medical forms and prepare appropriate camp paperwork
-Provide excellent customer service for all participants
-Completing other administrative tasks as assigned to ensure a successful camp season

Requirements:
-PALS does not provide a laptop or internet service, both are required to complete this job
-Commitment to living out the PALS Promise and living by the PALS values to be welcoming, genuine, passionate, supportive, and fun.
-Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Commitment to maintaining the confidentiality and privacy of sensitive information.
-Experience with or ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software and recruitment systems
-Experience working with individuals with Down syndrome or other intellectual disabilities is helpful but not required.
-This position requires the ability to listen to others, problem-solve, read text and information; comprehend instructions and manuals.
-Ability to cultivate individual and collaborative relationships while preserving the professional boundaries necessary to create and maintain effective relationships.
