Technical/Functional Skills         

?            Experience in Unemployment Insurance/social services domain in

o            Benefits areas (like Claims Intake, Weekly Certifications, Out of State Functions, Monetary and Non-Monetary Determinations, Overpayments, Appeals, USDOL compliance, IRS compliance)

o            Tax areas (like Employer establishment and maintenance, Contribution and Wage Reports, Employee Leasing, Billing and Collections, Liens, Fraud and Investigations, Appeals and Cashiering).

?            Proficient in Requirements Gathering, Application Capability Demonstration, Gap Analysis and Documentation, Functional Designing, Customer Communication

?            Working knowledge of MS Office and MS Visio

Experience -       10+ years (IT and Unemployment Insurance)

Experience of Unemployment Insurance modernization/ transformation program as a Business Manager or SME is strongly preferred.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Should be the subject matter expert on Unemployment Insurance Tax and Benefits

  • Should lead Unemployment Insurance business analysts? team and provide guidance, direction to them as and when required in regard to Unemployment Insurance Business process

  • Build requirement specifications to ensure seamless deployments of Unemployment Insurance project

  • Build your knowledge of other information systems and be able to speak to their capabilities in the context of our customers? businesses

  • Coordinate with the business teams to build new functionality when required and set reasonable expectations with customers

  • Able to give demonstrations of UI systems to clients and prospects

  • Able to lead discussion to assess impact of any changes in law related to UI

 

 

  • Should be able to lead all Une mployment Insurance business processes discussion with the State's team

  • Have outstanding written and verbal communication skills

  • Anticipate change and quickly prioritize accordingly

  • Should have good team skills and should be able to motivate and train his team to understand the Unemployment Insurance business process in detail
