Position: Science Teacher - starting Fall 2025

Locations: 45 Great Hearts Academies located in Texas, Arizona & Louisiana - Texas - Dallas/Fort Worth, Irving, Arlington, and San Antonio. Arizona - Metro Phoenix schools and Louisiana - Baton Rouge as well as Florida schools opening in Fall 2025

Work Authorization - US work authorization is required, but we do accept OPT/CPT candidates.

Great Hearts is a growing, multi-state network of 45 public, open-enrollment charter schools, committed to provide a high-quality, classical liberal arts education to 25,000 K-12 students in Arizona, Louisiana, and Texas.

Certification is not required to teach at any of the Great Hearts Academies. Great Hearts teachers hold a bachelor's degree or higher and demonstrate both a love for the breadth of the liberal arts, and a depth of knowledge in the subject area(s) they teach. All candidates must be able to demonstrate they are qualified to teach the subjects they are assigned.

Our prep academies (grades 6-12) offer the following courses as part of our standard curriculum for students:

  • Pre-Algebra

  • Algebra I

  • Algebra I/II

  • Geometry

  • Algebra II/Pre-Calculus

  • Calculus I

  • Calculus II
