NOTE – Experience with Life Insurance domain is MUST (if you are not getting someone with LifePro experience). Also with interview slots in afternoon hours.



Job Description:

· Must have 10+ years SQL Server DBA working experience with SQL Server.

· Must be knowledgeable and experienced on the different versions of SQL Server (2005, 2008). Knowledge of SQL Server 2012 and possible benefits to the existing environments.

· Must have skills and experience in Database data management – backups, ETL, and archive using either native SQL Server backup tools.

· Experienced using internal diagnostic and maintenance tools such as DBCC and internal SP functions as well as SQLDiag, SQL Profiler and third party diagnostics tools.

· Demonstrate Knowledge of Partitioning Architecture.

· Management of multiple processing schedules and notification strategies. · Strong skills in T-SQL, DOS, PowerShell, tuning and debugging. Experience with SQL Server Manager, Visual Studio, DTS/SSIS and other SQL Server tools including but not limited to Profiler & SQL Server Command Line Utilities

· Experience with SQL Server database replication and mirroring

· Experienced in security/access strategies for a wide pool of user groups and developers with different access requirements. · Ability to maintain a positive attitude while working with high demands and short deadlines · Ability to prioritize heavy workload with minimum supervision.

· Highly adaptable with ability to work in a fast paced demanding environment

· Must have excellent communications and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work well with development and infrastructure teams in doing database design, changes and enhancement to new and existing applications.

· Strong organizational and analytical skills.

· Understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery requirements and solutions.



Not Required, but Preferred:

· Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) or higher certificates on SQL Server 2005, 2005, 2012. ·

· Experience in data modeling and metadata management.



Education

· BS/BA degree in a related technical discipline.
