A Faculty Trainer Officer will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs for faculty, often focusing on professional development and instructional techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Assessing training needs, developing materials, facilitating workshops, and evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives.
• Identifying the training needs of faculty, including skill gaps and areas for improvement.
• Creating and updating training curricula and materials, including presentations, workshops, and online modules.
• Facilitating training sessions, workshops, and webinars, either in-person or online.
• Developing effective training strategies and materials that align with learning objectives and learning principles.
• Assessing the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and data analysis.
• Providing guidance and support to faculty on instructional techniques and best practices.
• Working with other faculty, staff, and stakeholders to ensure training programs meet the needs of the institution.
• Maintaining accurate records of training participation, progress, and evaluation results.
Qualification:
• A bachelor's degree is typically required, with a master's degree or advanced certification preferred.
• Prior experience in teaching, training, or instructional design is highly desirable.
• Skills:
• Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional techniques.
• Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and other training software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and project management skills
