The Electric Motor Supervisor will oversee and enhance the winding department by supervising, training, and mentoring a team of winders while actively participating in daily winding operations. This role is crucial in ensuring production schedules are met, while maintaining quality control and prioritizing safety within the department. The supervisor will also be responsible for the accurate inspection, assembly, and final testing of AC/DC motors, generators, coils, armatures, and related components.

Responsibilities

Supervise, train, and mentor a team of winders

Perform hands-on tasks such as brazing, soldering, welding, and coil fabrication
Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, and purchasing departments
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work environment
Provide remote customer support when needed
Collaborate with satellite locations and internal teams to balance workloads

Qualifications

Previous supervisory experience in a related field
Proven experience in electric motor mechanics
Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively

Education Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Technical certification in electrical systems preferred
