Skills

Previous experience in mold making, repair, or modification
Proficiency in both CNC and manual machining processes
Ability to interpret complex blueprints and work with tight tolerances
Strong attention to detail and quality assurance skills
Familiarity with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, height gauges)

Responsibilities

Build new molds from raw materials using CNC and manual machining equipment
Repair and modify existing molds using CNC and manual machining equipment
Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble molds for repair and evaluation
Review and interpret drawings and models
Operate lathes, milling machines, surface grinders, and other manual/CNC equipment
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot tooling issues and recommend improvements
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following company and industry safety standards
Perform other Tool Room-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder
Relevant experience in mold making or manufacturing technician roles
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Education Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in machining or a related field is preferred
