Skills

Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic, and combustion malfunctions
Proficiency in navigating and interpreting ladder logic in SLC 500, PLC 5, and Control Logix software
Experience in modifying positions and diagnosing problems on ABB robots (Models M94, M98, M2000, M2600, and M6700)
Competency in both gas and electric welding operations
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement effective repair procedures

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in manufacturing equipment
Install, move, and align both new and existing equipment
Set up and operate various types of machine shop equipment accurately d Maintain accurate machine repair records and a neat work area
Perform preventive and proactive maintenance tasks on plant equipment
Carry out other duties as assigned by supervision or the designated team leader

Qualifications

4+ years of related experience in Allen Bradley, Hydraulics, Robotics, and Welding
Experience in troubleshooting die casting machine cells using PLCs and electrical/hydraulic schematics

Education Requirements

Technical or vocational education (certificates or some college courses)
