Strong knowledge of job costing and general ledger management
Proficient in budgeting and financial reporting
Strong Excel skills (testing will occur during the interview process)
Effective communication skills across all levels of personnel
Spanish language skills (nice to have)
CPA License (nice to have)
Experience with ERP systems, particularly Computer Guidance Corp eCMS (nice to have)

Responsibilities

Facilitate seamless communication between field teams and accounting
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and provide insights
Oversee key accounting functions, including general ledger management
Prepare and present financial data at monthly division reviews
Collaborate with leadership on financial policies and procedures
Supervise the job costing team and maintain a collaborative environment

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance/accounting within commercial construction
Expertise in job costing, general ledger management, budgeting, and financial reporting
Experience with job costing in the field at a granular level
Experience with multi-company structures, including acquired and startup businesses
Ability to communicate effectively and present to executives
