CNC Machinist

Hours: Mon- Friday 7am-3:30pm, some overtime required

Pay: Competitive pay, based on experience & skill level

In this role, the CNC Machinist will program, set up, operate, and maintain CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to manufacture high-precision components according to engineering specification. They will need to ensure the production of quality parts using various inspection equipment to ensure each part meets the required criteria.

Position Summary

• Responsible for creating programs and making edits as needed.
• Set up CNC machines, including loading raw materials, securing workpieces, and selecting appropriate tooling.
• Ensure CNC machines operate within specified tolerances and quality standards.
• Monitor machine operations, adjust as needed to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Conduct thorough inspections of machined parts to verify conformance to design specifications.
• Verification of CNC machined parts; inspect tool geometry using various measuring tools.

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous CNC experience required, including mills & lathes
• 3+ year manufacturing experience preferred.
• Programming experience in G-code
• Strong shop math skills, (standard & metric)
• Ability to read blueprints along with mathematical inclination
