Job Summary:
Vimerse InfoTech Inc is seeking an experienced SQL Database Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases across production, development, and staging environments. The ideal candidate will ensure database performance, security, and availability while supporting mission-critical banking applications.

Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server databases.
Optimize performance (query tuning, indexing, resource management).
Implement HA/DR solutions (Always On, Clustering, Log Shipping, Replication).
Manage backups, recovery, upgrades, and migrations.
Monitor health, capacity, and resolve incidents with root cause analysis.
Support developers with query tuning and schema design.
Ensure compliance with security, governance, and audit policies.

Required Skills:
Strong expertise in SQL Server & T-SQL.
HA/DR, backup, and recovery strategies.
Experience with Azure SQL / AWS RDS.
Knowledge of database security & compliance.
Scripting (PowerShell) and automation skills.
Excellent problem-solving & communication skills.
