Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled AWS IoT / AWS WAF Consultant to design, implement, and manage AWS WAF solutions, ensuring the protection and security of enterprise web applications. The consultant will collaborate with security and cloud teams to maintain robust and scalable IoT and WAF infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, configure, and manage AWS WAF to protect web applications from security threats.

Develop and maintain automation scripts for WAF deployment and management.

Integrate AWS WAF with other AWS and third-party security tools.

Monitor web application threats and respond to incidents promptly.

Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.

Conduct regular security audits and ensure compliance with organizational standards.

Support CI/CD pipeline integration for WAF and application deployments.

Required Skills:

Strong experience with AWS Web Application Firewall (WAF).

Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting.

Hands-on experience with AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.

Solid understanding of web application and network security principles.

Familiarity with AWS core services and architecture.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based deployment processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with AWS Shield, AWS IAM, and related AWS security services.

Knowledge of network firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).

AWS Certified Security – Specialty or equivalent certification preferred.
