Job Description

The Market Research Analyst will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data on consumers, competitors, and market conditions to help organizations understand the Canadian market landscape. This role supports strategic decision-making by providing actionable insights that drive business growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on Canadian industries, market trends, and consumer preferences.

Collect and analyze data using surveys, focus groups, databases, and statistical tools.

Monitor and evaluate market conditions, competitor performance, and emerging opportunities.

Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations that translate data into strategic insights.

Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to support business planning and market entry strategies.

Track key economic, regulatory, and demographic developments affecting the Canadian market.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SPSS, Tableau, or Power BI.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.

Understanding of the Canadian market, industry regulations, and consumer behavior.

Preferred Experience

2–4 years of experience in market research, data analysis, or business intelligence.

Experience working with Canadian datasets, economic indicators, or consumer research firms.

Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Qualtrics, or CRM systems.
