Social Media Manager – Children's Book Series Launch
$500/month | Part-Time Remote | 6 months
The Role
Seeking a young social media manager to lead the social media launch campaign for the children's book
series ‘PHI & BONACCI – Designers of the Universe’, starting with the first book: "Uno and the Game
of Two". All visual content will be provided. Time Commitment: 5 hours/week.

Goals & Objectives
Create awareness for a new kids franchise launching with a beautifully illustrated printed and e-book
available on Amazon that bridges left and right-side thinking.
Position the author as a thought leader in the space, and inspire a robust discussion with parents and
educators focused on the health and wellness of the next generation.
Build community with compelling content that engages the target audience.
Responsibilities and Goals
- Develop and execute social media strategy across main social media channels
- Create, adapt, schedule and share engaging posts across multiple platforms
- Write engaging captions that resonate with parents and educators (primary buyers)
- Manage community engagement and respond to comments/messages across all channels
- Reach out to parenting/education influencers and book bloggers
- Participate in relevant online communities and groups
- Track analytics and provide monthly reports
- Increase audience, followers and fan base
Requirements
- 1-2 years social media management experience planning and implementing campaigns
- Strong writing skills to engage with parents and educators as the target audience
- Creative thinker and doer comfortable with tools such as Figma and CapCut
- Knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, and blog platforms and related tools
- Creating, posting, setting KPIs, measuring, and analyzing results using platforms such as Buffer
or Sprout Social
- Interest in education, publishing, video games, animation, and kids market
- Understanding of children's book market and what appeals to adult buyers, a plus
- Passion for marketing and promoting things you believe in on social media
