Position: Senior Project Manager (Mechanical Contracting)
Location: Rensselaer, NY

Job Summary:
Seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to lead large, complex mechanical construction projects (HVAC, piping, plumbing). This full-time role includes overseeing project planning, execution, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and team leadership. The position involves guiding Project Managers and field teams, overseeing mechanical design and construction activities, ensuring safety and quality compliance, and serving as the primary client contact. Responsibilities include managing subcontractors, reviewing RFIs/change orders, tracking financials, resolving issues, supporting business development, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to required standards.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of mechanical project management experience (5+ years with large-scale mechanical construction).
• Strong leadership, communication, budgeting, scheduling, and contract management skills.
• Expertise in HVAC, piping, plumbing, safety standards, and industry regulations.
• Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Procore, Primavera).



Key Skills
10+ years of project management experience, with at least 5 years focused on large-scale, mechanical construction projects and in a senior project leadership role.
