Job Title: Solution Architect - Data Model Design
Location: Plano TX

The Solution Architect will be responsible for designing, leading, and enhancing core data models and enterprise services supporting a large-scale auto finance platform. This position focuses on strategic architecture, seamless data integration, platform scalability, reliability, regulatory compliance, and guiding teams through new service development and data migration efforts.

Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Data Architecture & Platform Design
• Develop scalable data architectures and standards suited for high-volume environments and microservices-based systems.
• Direct both current and future-state data model designs to meet business, regulatory, and technical objectives.

Advanced Data Modeling & Migration
• Create comprehensive logical and physical data models tailored for high-transaction auto finance operations.
• Lead end-to-end migration initiatives, evaluating legacy sources, ensuring data quality, and managing secure data transitions.

Real-Time & Batch Data Processing
• Architect high-performance pipelines for real-time and batch data processing to support analytics and transactional workloads.
• Optimize compute, storage, and indexing strategies to achieve low latency and high throughput across finance-related workflows.

Data Integration & Cross-Platform Enablement
• Define integration approaches for internal and external platforms, leveraging APIs, events, and cloud-native services.
• Facilitate smooth data and service interoperability across business units, partners, and customer-facing channels.

Governance, Compliance & Data Quality
• Implement frameworks for data governance, security, lineage, and stewardship to ensure regulatory and operational compliance.
• Enforce compliance with PCI and auto finance–specific regulatory requirements.

Leadership & Collaboration
• Influence and collaborate with engineering teams, product leaders, compliance groups, and other stakeholders.
• Mentor developers and data engineers, promoting technical excellence, documentation quality, and adherence to standards.
• Foster innovation and share best practices across the broader technical organization.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Strong background in strategic data architecture and enterprise platform design, preferably within microservices, cloud ecosystems, or the auto finance industry.
• Deep expertise in data modeling, system integration, data migration, and large-scale real-time/batch data processing.
• Proven leadership capabilities and experience managing stakeholders in compliance-driven environments.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
• 15+ years of overall experience, including 5+ years focused on data architecture or data solution design.
• Proficiency with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and modern big data technologies.
