Travel Agent Job Description

detail-oriented Travel Agent to join our growing team!
At The Holiday Travel Agent Inc, we believe that every

excellent communication skills and a knack for organization,

In this role, you will:
• Consult with clients to understand their travel needs,
preferences, and budget.
• Research and recommend suitable destinations,
accommodations, transportation, and activities.
• Book flights, hotels, cruises, car rentals, and other travel
services.
• Prepare detailed itineraries and travel documents.
• Provide expert advice on travel regulations, visa
requirements, and insurance options.
• Handle inquiries, resolve issues, and provide ongoing
support to clients before, during, and after their trips.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new destinations, and
travel promotions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and
travel suppliers.
What we’re looking for:
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Travel Agent or in a
similar customer service role within the travel industry.
• Proven knowledge of global geography, popular travel
destinations, and travel trends.
• Familiarity with travel booking software and Global
Distribution Systems (GDS) is a plus (e.g., Amadeus,
Sabre, Galileo).
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a
fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach.
• Travel agent certifications preferred but not required.
• Fluency in additional languages is a plus but not required.
