Remote Typist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Remote Typist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately typing, formatting, editing, and proofreading documents while meeting assigned deadlines. This role is fully remote and best suited for individuals who can work independently, follow instructions carefully, and maintain strict confidentiality.

Responsibilities include: accurately typing and formatting documents from handwritten notes, PDFs, images, or audio files; proofreading content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and proper grammar; editing and correcting spelling, formatting, and layout errors; organizing files and maintaining clear document structures; meeting deadlines consistently; and handling sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.

Required skills and qualifications: fast and accurate typing speed (typically 40–60+ WPM); strong attention to detail; excellent spelling and grammar skills; ability to proofread and correct errors efficiently; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and basic Excel; ability to convert PDFs or images into editable text; familiarity with email and cloud-based tools such as Gmail, Google Drive, and Dropbox; and basic file organization and naming skills.
