We are seeking an experienced Pre-Construction Project Manager to join a dynamic team in the construction industry. This role focuses on managing projects through the critical pre-construction phase, ensuring seamless transitions into execution while optimising costs, design, and risks.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full pre-construction phase for commercial projects
Select and manage design consultants while overseeing the design process
Lead meetings with owners and design teams
Track scope changes and communicate cost implications to the project team
Develop detailed cost estimates, outline specifications, and value engineering options
Perform quantity take-offs and cost analysis of design alternatives
Investigate site conditions, soil reports, building codes, covenants, restrictions, and agency requirements
Identify and communicate project risks and constraints early
Interpret design intent, clarify ambiguous scope items, and optimise designs based on constructability experience
Perform preliminary design work (manual or CADD) for estimating purposes
Coordinate proposal documents, prepare specification abstracts, and maintain cost-tracking tools

Required Qualifications:
4-year college degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of direct pre-construction experience (or equivalent combination of training and experience)
