Electrical Sales Engineer – Industrial Electrical Projects
1. Sales & Marketing Engineer
• Identify and develop business opportunities in Industrial Electrical Projects.
• Promote services and products including LT Panels, PCC, MCC, PMCC, LV Switchboards, Bus Duct, HT Panels, Earthing systems, Cabling, High Mast & Lighting systems.
• Generate enquiries from consultants, EPC contractors, industries, and infrastructure clients.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to revenue growth.
2. Project Evaluation & Technical Support
• Study tender documents, drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Conduct site visits for project assessment and requirement analysis.
• Provide technical inputs for system design including earthing, cabling layouts, lighting design, and panel configurations.
• Coordinate with design and estimation teams for accurate costing.
3. Tendering & Proposal Preparation
• Prepare techno-commercial proposals for industrial electrical projects.
• Handle quantity take-offs and cost estimation for materials and execution.
• Participate in tender submissions, bid clarification meetings, and negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and client standards.
4. Project Execution Coordination
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and procurement teams.
• Monitor execution of electrical works including:
o LT/HT Panel installation
o PCC, MCC, PMCC erection
o LV Switchboard & Bus Duct installation
o Earthling and cabling works
o High mast and lighting systems
• Ensure work is completed as per drawings, quality standards, and timelines.
5. Commissioning & Testing
• Support testing and commissioning of LT/HT panels and electrical systems.
• Ensure proper functioning of protection systems and switchgear.
• Coordinate with clients during inspection and handover.
6. Billing & Documentation
• Prepare running bills (RA bills) and final bills.
• Verify quantities executed at site.
• Maintain project documentation, material records, and work progress reports.
• Assist in claim preparation for variation orders.
7. Planning & Scheduling
• Assist in project planning and resource allocation.
• Track project milestones and ensure adherence to timelines.
• Coordinate material delivery and manpower planning.
8. Client Relationship & After-Sales Support
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and consultants.
• Handle technical queries and provide post-project support.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business opportunities.
