Strong experience in Enterprise GIS Administration Hands‑on experience with ArcGIS Enterprise Telecom domain exposure (wireless, fiber, network infrastructure) Strong understanding of spatial databases and data models

Databases: PostgreSQL/PostGIS, Oracle Spatial, SQL Server

Job Description
The GIS Enterprise Administrator (Telecom) is responsible for managing, supporting, and optimizing the enterprise GIS platform used for telecom network planning, operations, and assurance. This role ensures high availability, performance, security, and data integrity of GIS systems supporting fiber, wireless, core, and access networks, while enabling seamless integration with OSS/BSS and network tools.

Key Responsibilities
GIS Enterprise Platform Administration
Administer and support ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal, ArcGIS Server, Data Store) or equivalent enterprise GIS platforms Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain GIS infrastructure in Dev/UAT/Prod environments Manage users, roles, groups, privileges, and security policies Monitor GIS services, logs, server health, and resolve operational issues

Telecom Network GIS Support
Support GIS applications related to:
Fiber network design (FTTx, backbone, metro) Wireless networks (2G/3G/4G/5G) Towers, small cells, and sites Core and access network assets Manage spatial layers for:
Network elements, routes, ducts, poles, handholes Coverage maps, RF planning, heatmaps Capacity and utilization data Enable GIS support for:
Network rollout and expansion
Fault and outage visualization
Capacity planning and optimization

Data Management & Governance
Manage large‑scale telecom spatial datasets and databases Ensure data accuracy, versioning, topology rules, and integrity Define and enforce GIS data standards, schemas, and metadata Perform spatial database administration (PostGIS, Oracle Spatial, SQL Server) Implement and test backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures

Integration with Telecom Systems (OSS/BSS) Integrate GIS with:
OSS/BSS platforms
NMS and EMS systems
Inventory, provisioning, and assurance tools Support REST APIs, web services, and data pipelines between GIS and network systems Enable GIS feeds for:
Trouble ticket systems
Workforce management
Network planning and analytics tools
